Assists the priest at the altar, and lead the procession in and out of the sanctuary.
Adults and teens are welcome to join, as well as school-aged children (the
starting age may depend on availability of garments).
St.
Barnabas was represented by 17 people at the 9th annual Acolyte Festival of the Diocese of New Jersey on February 14, 2009 at
Trinity Cathedral, Trenton. All had fun attending the workshops and the
service at the end of the day. 4 acolytes from St. Barnabas were chosen to
participate in the service. If you would like to join
